Born and raised in the ‘burbs of Philadelphia, Tuan Quoc Le got his film education by working at his local movie theatre, attending film school at Syracuse University and working on dozens of films with fellow filmmakers over the years. After starting his professional editing career working on all five seasons of The CW’s iZombie, Tuan went on to edit television shows such as Love Victor, The Wilds, Echoes, Goosebumps and High Potential.
Tuan has also edited a feature documentary, a feature film and several television pilots.In addition to editing, Tuan has worked as a cinematographer on dozens of short films and web-series, as well as the feature length horror-comedy, Crush the Skull, which won the “Nightfall” genre award at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival.
Tuan has also directed several short films, including 127 Minutes as a part of Visual Communications "Armed With a Camera" fellowship, Eventually, which was nominated for several awards including Best Comedy Short at NewFilmmakers LA's "Best Of" Festival and Care Less, which screened at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival in May 2019.
Tuan completed the Warner Bros. Television Director’s Workshop in the summer of 2017 and went on to direct two episodes of the television series iZombie for Warner Bros. Television and The CW.
Tuan is seeking more opportunities to tell stories in television and film.
